Privacy Policy
This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what happens when you click a booking link. It also covers email contact, cookies, analytics, your rights under UK and EU data law, and the limits of our role as an independent guide. We do not run classes, take payment, or see your booking details.

Florence Pasta Class is an independent travel guide. We are not the official site for any class, and we do not sell tickets or process bookings ourselves.
What we collect
We keep data to a minimum. In normal use, we may collect:
- an email message if you contact us at info@italianpastaclass.com
- basic website analytics, if enabled, to understand which pages people read
- technical data such as browser type, device type, and page views
- affiliate tracking data when you click an outbound booking link
We do not receive card details, passenger names, booking contents, or provider access to your message history with another company.
Emails and how long we keep them
If you email us, we use your message to reply and handle the site issue you raised. We may keep that email for up to 24 months if it helps with follow-up, corrections, or record keeping. After that, we delete it unless we need to keep it longer for a legal reason.
Analytics and cookies
We may use privacy-focused analytics to see which pages are useful and where visitors come from. That usually means we can see page visits and rough device data, not your name or full booking details.
- Cookies or similar storage may be used for analytics and affiliate tracking
- You can block cookies in your browser settings
- You can also clear stored site data at any time
- If you use a tracker-blocking tool, some links or reports may stop working as expected
Some browsers also let you send a “do not track” signal. Sites do not all handle that signal the same way.
Outbound booking links
When you click a booking link, you leave our site and go to GetYourGuide. That platform then controls the booking flow and its own privacy policy applies.
Those links include our partner code PYVZALU so the booking platform can recognise that the visit came from Florence Pasta Class. That code helps track referral traffic and commission. It does not give us your payment card details, booking contents, or passenger information.
Your rights
If you live in the UK or EU, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to restrict some processing or ask for portability in some cases.
- access to the personal data we hold about you
- correction of inaccurate information
- deletion where we no longer need the data, or where the law allows it
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests
Your rights can vary by country and by the type of data involved. If you are outside the UK or EU, local law may give you different rights.
Who controls your booking data
If you make a booking after leaving our site, the booking platform and the class provider handle that transaction. Their own privacy policy and booking terms govern payment, fulfilment, refunds, changes, and any data linked to the booking.
This page is for transparency about our site. It does not replace the booking provider’s own terms, which govern any purchase.
Changes to this page
We may update this policy when our site changes or when the law changes. If we make a material change, we will revise the date at the top of the page.
Getting in touch
If you have a question about this policy, or you want to ask for access, correction, or deletion of an email you sent us, write to info@italianpastaclass.com. Use a clear subject line so we can find the right message quickly.
